CALLING ALL WOMEN
who wear all the hats,
all the time.

E X P O S U R E
a weekend long sanctuary for the women feeling

Burnt out

Overworked

Anxious

Stressed

Losing their passion

Struggling with imposter syndrome

Can’t find balance between all their responsibilities

whether you are

a working woman

a stay at home mom

a working mom

a business owner

an employee

It’s inevitably a lot and,
every once in a while,
the tears and panic catch up to us
while we try to stay caught up with life

Meet your host

Hi - I’m so happy you’re here! My name is Lori, a researcher by day, owner of a hair styling business by night, mom 24/7, and founder of Exposure.

This ‘idea’ has been on my heart for 13 years. At 17, I created a Facebook page of the same name with the intention of being a safe space for women to post “selfies” unedited, unfiltered, without makeup. At the time, social media had become a reckless place for self-esteem as the term ‘highlight reel’ reached new heights, especially with photo editing becoming the new normal. I had a dream of starting a natural cosmetic and skincare line that didn’t cover up your beauty, but enhanced what is already there and Exposure was also the intended name. Over the years, Exposure - as a brand, a notion, a metaphor - always remained but I continued to develop new ideas about how it would come to fruition. While I am now happily a researcher (spoiler alert, I didn’t start that skincare line), mental health is a personal passion of mine and I recently had a light-bulb moment realizing there are really no retreats for women to actually ‘retreat’. Many motivational events, networking events, conventions, empowerment seminars and that is AMAZING; however, we could all use a little reset… I know I could.

While I am filled with nerves about hosting this event, I am also filled with pride and gratitude watching my dreams and my passions come true. Just know this weekend has been carefully planned to allow women to really restore their balance and recharge their soul. Rooted in wellness - both physical and mental.

I look forward, and would be honored, to welcome you with wide open arms at this retreat!
